A professionally installed epoxy floor on a properly prepared slab lasts 10 to 15 years in commercial settings and up to 20 years in residential. The prep work — diamond grinding, moisture testing, crack repair — is what determines longevity. Floors that fail early almost always failed at the prep stage, not the coating.
A residential garage is typically a 2-day job. A 10,000 square foot warehouse runs 3 to 5 days depending on condition and the system used. We can also phase large commercial jobs — coat half the facility while you operate on the other half — to minimize downtime.
Epoxy is the base coat system — it bonds to concrete and provides the structural coating layer. Polyaspartic is used as a topcoat over epoxy. It cures faster, is UV stable so it does not yellow in sunlight, and adds the final layer of durability and sheen. Most premium systems use both.

Every project is priced based on your specific situation — square footage, floor condition, system required, and prep work needed. A fresh slab is priced very differently from a full restoration on an older warehouse floor. We never bundle guesses into a number without understanding your floor first.
